The average American drinks 215 bottles of water every year. That means that as a country, we throw 50 billion plastic water bottles into landfills every year.  But the water crisis is a whole lot bigger than us.  Many parts of the world don’t have access to clean drinking water.  In Africa, a child dies every 20 minutes from a water borne illness.  In fact, over 1 billion people on the planet do not have access to clean drinking water.  Two problems.
